Terms of Use

Last updated 16 August 2026

GPA Planner is a planning tool. It is not a school record, it does not report your official GPA, and it cannot predict a college admission decision. Always confirm your official grades and GPA with your school counselor.

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the GPA Planner iOS application, published by OnBaseIQ LLC (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. The app is also licensed to you under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies in addition to these Terms.

2. What the app does

GPA Planner calculates weighted and unweighted grade point averages from information you enter, projects those figures forward across a course plan you build, and compares an unweighted figure against published admissions averages for a bundled list of colleges.

3. Accuracy — please read this part

Your GPA

Every number the app produces is derived from the grading rules you configure and the scores you enter. High schools differ enormously in how they weight courses, round grades, treat plus and minus marks, count credits, and handle pass/fail classes. If the settings do not match your school’s policy, the result will not match your transcript. The app’s output is an estimate and is not an official academic record.

College admissions data

Admitted-GPA figures shown in the app are approximate unweighted averages compiled from publicly reported admissions data. They change every year, they are reported inconsistently between institutions, and they are only one factor among many in an admissions decision. They are provided for orientation only. Always check a school’s own Common Data Set or admissions office before relying on any figure.

No guarantee

Nothing in this app is a promise, prediction, or guarantee of any grade, GPA, scholarship, or admission outcome. We are not academic advisors, counselors, or admissions consultants.

4. No affiliation

College and university names appear in this app for identification and reference only. GPA Planner is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by any college, university, school, school district, or testing organization. No institutional logos, seals, crests, or trademarks are used in the app.
